This is another Video Recording app for the iPhone, the demo allows you to save ~5 seconds of video and once you donate/pay $10 USD you get a license to record almost unlimited video (limited only to available memory on your iPhone)
ShowTime is from PolarBearFarm and can be installed via installer by adding http://www.polarbearfarm.com/repo/ to your insaller sources and refreshing.

It currently only records at about 6 frames per second, and the quality is ok, I'll post a sample soon as I have purchased a license for testing and I also need a video recorder app for my iPhone and didn't mind the $10 US, I spend that on stupider things all the time :) - but as soon I entered the license I was able to record mroe than 15 secs of video, I will post a sample soon :)
EDIT: There seems to be allot of confusion about who the original developer of the source of ShowTime, DrunkenBass is claiming that a member of PolarBearFarm was a member of his development team and ran off with the proof of concept code, they have both tried to defend themselves online on the various forums, I will let you decide. I am impartial, and will donate to either/both as I want and enjoy video recording on my iphone :)

However this Showtime.app is a completely ripoff of drunknbass's Video Recording PoC (Proof of Concept) read http://www.monsterandfriends.com/

Aaron, any updates on the video recorder? Is it worth it?
It was worth it to me to spend the $10 US, it works wonderfully, the only gripe is that there is no converter for the .vid files, so you can only watch them on your iphone.
the developer says that feature will be in a future update.
Also there is allot of confusion about the original code. I will not post my opinion about that, i am just showing the app..

He is saying its a freeware app and you should donate to use it as a full app. Well thats bullshit. If you make a freeware app then make it free and put a donate button on your web but never say your app is free and you must donate to use its full capabilities.
